EnoLogic NetFilter just got smarter

The dynamic ''filter engine'' has been improved, trained and adjusted, such that EnoLogic NetFilter Home now is even better at distinguishing what should be shown and what should be blocked.

Stealth mode

NetFilter can be setup to run in stealth mode. No blocking will take place, and the computer users will be totally unaware that all net traffic is being scanned by the artificial intelligence engine of EnoLogic NetFilter. The parent (or the NetFilter administrator user) can then extract a detailed log about the Internet activities on the system.

Improved logging and security

The administration application can now be setup to lock administrative access if the login is entered incorrectly.

All attempts to tamper with the filter settings, and/or Internet connection settings, are fully now logged and automatically restored.

Profiles

Using profiles, you can use different filter settings for different users of the computer. Click here to enlarge...

Flash analysis

EnoLogic NetFilter now has the capability to analyse the widely popular Macromedia flash format. This media format can contain all multimedia formats such as text, images and video.

Improved frame support

Greatly improved handling of websites that are using frames.

Blocks pornographic pages and images

The core of EnoLogic NetFilter is an advanced content filtering algorithm, which analyses images and text on each page that is visited.

User defined Grant and Block lists

As the filtering is done 100% dynamically, no black or white lists are used. However, you can setup your own address lists as filter administrator. This gives you an administrative possibility to bypass the filter for all URLs you specify. Click here to enlarge...

Binary MP3 analysis

The optional detection and blocking of MP3 is based on binary content analysis. That is, the filter also detects MP3 files even if they are “disguised” as other files. For instance, the file 'NotMusic.gif' will be detected/blocked if it is a renamed MP3 file. Click here to enlarge...

Blocking large file transfers

It is possible to detect and optionally block large files passing through the filter. This property makes it possible to determine whether traffic of such files occurs. If this is the case, it will be written to the log file. Depending on the circumstances, it may be different when a file is considered large. Therefore, it is possible to specify how large a file must be for it to be considered large. Click here to enlarge...
