The following test is based on a thorough test spanning approximately 8.000 websites. All links are part of an official test-document developed by Harvard University and the US Department of Justice.

BACKGROUND
In this test the latest version of Norton Internet Security is compared to EnoLogic NetFilter. The test was conducted on 375 links to strongly pornographic sites. Each link was recently posted on a well known pornographic link collection.
It is clearly noticable that the EnoLogic results are far superior, both regarding pornographic and innocent material on the Internet, than the nearest competitor.

RESULT
EnoLogics parental control software was clearly the most effective web filter with regards to pornographic material on the Internet. This efficiency is also applicable to the future, as the EnoLogic NetFilter technology is truly dynamic and therefore also work on the websites of tomorrow.
By default, the Home edition is geared towards protecting your child and provide online safety. Therefore the reporter found that our content filter even blocked pages concerning the subject "Sexual orientation / education". We believe that the responsibility of defining what type of sexually explicit material is allowed is up to the parents. Therefore we provide parental control features to adjust our web filters sensitivity.
When installing the content filter in a school or a company, it is also possible to choose if the web filter should block content or simply to warn. This is a unique feature of the EnoLogic NetFilter product series. A feature that among others Aalborg Technical College have appreciated.
